Gogi Grant PortraitFollowing a 20 year absence from the music scene to raise a family, Gogi Grant returned to the concert field to these reviews:

"Clearly a great singer whose velvety tones were not diminished by her extended layoff." - Los Angeles Times

"Gogi is back with a flourish! Her sold-out shows concentrated on the great songs of the 40s and 50s . . . an elegant performer." - Los Angeles Herald Examiner

The beautiful brunette singer was named "Most Popular Vocalist" in the country in 1956 by both Billboard and Cashbox Magazines after her two million seller, "Wayward Wind," replaced Elvis Presley's "Don't Be Cruel" as the number one song on the musical charts.

Ms. Grant, who also had million seller singles with "Suddenly, There's a Valley" and "Who Are We" was the singing voice of Ann Blythe in the Warner Brothers musical biography "The Helen Morgan Story," co-starring Paul Newman.

In addition to starring in nightclubs throughout the country, she appeared on scores of TV variety shows, capping her singing career with three guest-star solos on the Academy Award presentations, the only singer to be thus honored.
